The Phoenix, protected under the California Education code, is a public forum for the students of Fremont High School. The Phoenix staff will publish features, editorials, news and sports in an unbiased and professional manner. The Phoenix is the official student newspaper and is distributed free of cost to the students. The Phoenix publishes eight issues throughout the school year.

Mission Statement

Editorials are the official opinion of The Phoenix. Opinions and letters are the personal viewpoints of the writers and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of The Phoenix. All content decisions are made by the student editors and in no way reflect the official policy of Fremont High School, nor the opinions of the administration, faculty, or the adviser. 

Business advertisements are accepted in The Phoenix. However, The Phoenix reserves the right to deny any ad. Those interested in running advertisements can call the school at (408)-522-2200, or email fremonthighphoenix@gmail.com. An online version of The Phoenix is available at fremonthighphoenix.wixsite.com/the-phoenix.

Letters to the editor and questions for the Ask Esteban may be submitted online at fremonthighphoenix.wixsite.com/the-phoenix, to room 145, Ms. Martin’s mailbox, or emailed to fremonthighphoenix@gmail.com. Identities of those who submit questions will remain anonymous. The staff reserves the right to edit letters to conform to styles and policy. Letters to the editor will be published at the discretion of the staff.
